Training tool for residential childcare staff

Practise safeguarding decisions before they matter.

A puzzle-style training game for staff in residential childcare and supported accommodation for young people aged 12–20. Place residents through the evening, weigh CSE, mental-health, missing-from-care and online-safety risks, and learn the reasoning behind each decision.

Practise safeguarding decisions before they matter — realistic scenarios, decision-making, confidence, learning.
How it plays

It's 8pm handover. Place every young person for the night.

Each level gives you a floorplan, a set of residents with real care-plan flags, and a briefing. Drag each person to a room or shared space. Submit when you're ready — you'll see which safeguarding rules you satisfied, which you breached, and the principle behind each one.

  1. 1Read each care-plan card
  2. 2Consider proximity, exits, and pairings
  3. 3Place and submit
  4. 4Learn from the rule-by-rule breakdown
